This is Todd Walker,a Florida resident who operates a drum studio out of the Port St. Lucie area. In addition to being a session/studio player and instructor Todd performs with one of Florida's most premier groups Bobby and the Blister's. You can find out more about Todd by checking out his website and some more of these great instructional vids! Now we get to learn some more odd time madness as Todd shows us a groove in 5/4. I love how he just breaks everything down in such a simple fashion, it's very easy to understand whether you have the vocabulary or not. What's really cool about this groove is that it starts out sounding like a funk groove, but later as he speeds it up it turns into a breakbeat. Tell me what you think. http://toddwalkerdrumstudio.com
