Here's some words of wisdom I heard from Mike Johnston, I'm paraphrasing, "practice makes perfect is not true when talking about drumming, practice makes PERMANENT, so be patient start slow and use proper techique it will payoff in the long run". something along those lines. But very true. Please share yours.

Ahh great advice, I would have never thought if it this way, but I completely agree. I'll never forget the paradiddle or triplets, as I have practiced the holy hell out of those! Always room for more improvement though!
