My name is Tom Coyne. I'm a drum teacher in the Los Angeles area. Some of you may know me from DML or UGW.
I will be posting a lot of lessons here -- mostly stuff to make the working drummers life easier! Things like chart reading, creating grooves out of rudiments, setting up accents, and lots of drum part transcriptions.
For the more adventurous drummers here, I will post my Summer Long class on Terry Bozzio's "The Black Page", which is currently in progress at UGW.
