Today's lesson is going to expand our concept of playing a short and steady flow of 16th note Triplets between the kick, snare and hi-hat. In this lesson, we'll expand our sticking to cover two beats of the groove. This pattern is getting a little busier so don't forget to use the PDF download to help you with the sticking.
Today's lesson takes a look at the basic Afro Cuban 6/8 groove. We're going to break this groove down by working on the hands first and then bringing in the kick drum to complete the groove.
