Those accents are still double strokes correct? You just move the second note of the double down to the snare?

No, actually I'm playing every accent as a single hit. When you slow it down it becomes more obvious that the 2nd note is missing, but at faster tempos it smooths out nicely. Sorry for the confusion!!

Thanks Bill I find all these lessons to be helpful for me. I still have trouble connecting the metronome beats to mine. Not so sure how to tell if I'm doing it right. I see you change the timing and it speeds up some.
I can't tell if I'm following it okay. Maybe can we have a lesson on how to line up what I do as a beginner to the metronome beats. Maybe start on something slow like 60 and try to show us how it works??
Can label it for the beginners beats to learn. I know its too easy for the seasoned players. I'd like to be a seasoned player some day.
