Hello Hello

Hi Guys names Jake Im from Chicago IL. Im 29 I started playin when I was 13 and took 3 yrs of lessons and learned a TON! Then I had to sell My drums to pay for Tech school when I was 18. So in the last 11 yrs I played drums ONCE!! I finally just bought a used all maple PDP Platinum kit and fell in love all over again. I must say it has been difficult to get started after such a long break! Any help or advice would be appreciated!!

You've come to the right place. There are quite a few cases of drummers "returning" after a long absence, including me so I can truly relate. Like the others said, get on your ride.. it will come back.. have fun!

You've got questions? We've got answers! Don't worry Jake, once you get your coordination back the muscle memory will kick in. In the meantime check out our lessons and play alongs....we have a ton of them and Billy is a GREAT instructor. Lots of practical information that can definitely help your playing. If you need anything at all just ask, sometimes we get really busy with the site but you can send us a private message and we'll get right back to you in 24hrs or less.
