Has anyone ever heard of Viking Drums? I have a set from the 80s and I'm trying to find out who made them. A friend told me he thought that TAMA had made them for a brief time.????? Any info would be great.

That's a good one, I'm still looking but this what I came up with so far http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/msg/1460447174.html
he has a set on craigslist so I would email him to find out what he knows. Also...when in doubt, ask an old man cause he probably knows more than you. A good place to start would be to call a vintage drum shop. You can google a few of them for phone #'s. One that I've personally been to is Steve Maxwell's Vintage shop in NY. They're staff is knowledgeable and could probably help. 212-730-8138 or in Chicago 312-360-9881. Good luck!
