For today’s lesson we’re going to expand our rhythms for the kick drum in this groove setting. We’re still playing a steady flow of 16th notes phrased as Paradiddles with accents on beats 2 and 4. The idea is to download the PDF file that has 12 one bar patterns to practice playing on the kick drum. These rhythms are getting busier so it’s also a great workout for your kick drum as well. Enjoy!

In Part 3, we're going to continue our workout with the Paradiddle Groove by expanding the 16th note rhythms played on the kick drum. Things are getting funky now, we're getting into two note combinations of 16th notes back to back. Remember to slow everything down and concentrate on proper note placement and try to make each groove feel the best you can.
This is a groove idea inspired by the sticking from the Double Paradiddle. Enjoy!
For the lesson today we're going to venture into 16th note world with the kick drum patterns. We'll start by adding the 1st and last 16th note along with just the "e" and just the "a". Our hands will stay consistent through out, playing a steady flow of 16th note Paradiddles between the snare and hi-hat. These PDF Download Rhythms can really be a challenge played on the kick drum! Enjoy.
Today’s lesson is going to take a look at what I call the Paradiddle Groove. We’ll create the groove by simply playing a steady flow of 16th notes as Paradiddles and then moving the right hand up to the hi-hat. After the hands get comfortable, we’ll practice playing a series of 1 bar rhythms from the download PDF on the kick drum to create several different Paradiddle Grooves.
