Future Percussion Concepts – The KickPort Company - is proud to announce that they are welcoming many new artists to the Kickport family inlcuding the increibly talented legends, Kenny Arnoff who has 30 Grammy Nominated Recordings to his name, and has played with John Mellencamp, John Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, Smashing Pumpkins, Rolling Stones to name just a few. Kenny says... "Kickports add punch, power and low end to your kick drum.. They work both live and in the studio...." And more specifically... "KickPorts will kick your ass..kick it right out of the venu... ; ) "
The KickPort Company also welcomes Gerry Brown who has played with Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie!
Also in addition to the family is Jonathon Moffet, that actually uses three KickPorts on his incredible three bass drum setup!
The KickPort is coming to stores sometime soon!
Future Percussion Concepts says....
"Future Percussion Concepts is currently negotiating manufacturing of the KickPort with a large scale company to meet worldwide dealer and distributor demand. As Jesse Bradman, FPC Business Development says… “Well… It’s taking a little longer than expected but we want to make it perfect... Since we first showed the KP to the world at the 2009 Winter NAMM show, our plan was to continue with limited California production runs to see how things go. Well…. things have really gone and now the challenge is that every time we ramp up our production, we sell even more so we are always behind! It is a great problem to have...but we are really looking forward to when we have large quantities on hand to satisfy all the dealers, artists and distributors that want the product.

For drummers, by drummers. More low end, more tone, more punch, less ring. Yes…that is EXACTLY what we want from our kick drum: More kick…
The KickPort™ Drum Insert applies subwoofer technology to your bass drum giving you low end youfeel, even lower than your ears can hear. Additionally, it adds ideal dampening to the head which allows you to reclaim all that valuable resonant space inside your beautiful drum. So now you are free to remove that giant sleeping pillow choking the vibrations of the shell and replace it with minimal internal dampening.
So what is the result? Simply a much richer tone. You hear your drum speak, and you hear more of its voice.
So how does it work? The KickPort adds punch by enhancing low frequencies, adding warm compression, and increasing resonance inside the drum. Plus it focuses the sound.
So what does that mean to you behind the kit? Simply more punch, better batter head response, a much improved kick presence for the audience via your live or studio engineer. More so, you will feel and hear all those beautiful things whether or not you are mic’d up.
So what are you waiting for?...
