Short, sweet and to the point! excellent lesson! I have loved Bonham's kick drum work since I was a kid...had to figure most of it out on my own back in the day. Thanks for the post bro!

When I log on to drummer connection for a 3 minute video, I don't want to listen to some wise ass "infotainment" BS. I want it straight up, dry and to the point. I appreciate Dan's style and I wouldn't have him change a thing. There are plenty of other, perhaps more video savvy drum instructions on this site and who are good instructors. For my time, however, I have found Dan's and Billy's videos to be some of the few I actually download and refer to over and over again. Thanks Dan for getting down to business for those of us who appreciate substance over style.

So this is the thanks i get? See the title "Lesson 1" what do you think that means? First video and first time I speak in the vid, no script no plan just to share my foot technique but I guess that's not important, the comedy is. I have already taken steps to improve and I take drumming seriously unlike some people who thinks it's a joke!

Hey Dan. I really dig your no-nonsense teaching style, not to mention your really solid playing. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to viewing more of your videos.
