Great lesson! Something i've tried before but not quite nailed it with the rhumba clave in a soloing situation. Will set to it now!
What are you using to create the clave sound with the left foot? Is it linked to an electronic kit or something? It really blends will with the RH on cowbell and LH snare

Thanks for the great lesson!! Can't wait to give this stuff a try. Your explanation of how you got into this concept was really inspiring.
You'll have to come visit again and shoot another one...or two :)
