greetings Billy,
What a great lesson!. My drum teacher just hit me with a new wrinkle... ghost notes on the bass drum. Basically I am doing good if I whack 'em out in time... But now, it's loud & soft...
I play mostly heal down, and I am trying to get used to playing heal up (on both the high hat and bass drum)
cheers, eddie

Thanks Eddie! Yeah, dynamics will take your playing to whole new level. Enjoy the journey and let me know how the heel up playing goes.
