sheldonkreger Says Stroke following accent?

Hello again! I love this workout sheet and am confident with them in triplet form. However, playing doubles is adding a complication. After an accent, should the accenting hand follow through with the second stroke? If so, is there a trick to it?

Thanks, love the lessons!!!

Great workout! Do you have any foot patterns you recommend putting underneath these beyond quarter notes?

Sure...how about a shuffle pattern with your kick drum. You can also add the middle triplet with your hi-hat foot as well. Or, you can do a steady flow of 8th note triplets with double bass for a workout in that area! I'll have some lessons posted soon that will demonstrate some of these ideas. Thanks for watching!!

How I love triplet. Billy what do you use to mic up your kit? (It's okay not to answer)

No problem...I use all Shure mics. Beta 52 & 91 on kick, 98's on toms, 57 on snare (top & bottom) 81's for overheads & ksm 32 for hat. Thanks for asking!
