I'VE BEEN TOUGHT THAT THE ROLL... ANY ROLL... IS THE WAY THAT US, PERCUSSIONISTS OR DRUMMERS CAN PLAY A LONG NOTE JUST AS A VIOLIN OR A CELLO DOES. SO WHEN WE PLAY A ROLL BOTH HANDS MOST SOUND EQUAL. DO YOU HAVE ANY TIP FOR ME TO ACHIEVE AN EQUAL SOUN IN BOTH HANDS?!!!
GREAT VIDEO AND NICE CHOPS!

Thanks man!
Yeah, I agree that both hands should have the same sound and control over the stroke. That's not an easy thing to accomplish. I think getting good solid doubles down can be one of the major hurdles for drummers to over come. I know it certainly was for me. With that being said, I suggest working a lot on the various rolls...5,7,9 etc. Any rudiment involving doubles is great to work on. Triplet rolls are great as well. You can always use your better hand to help teach the weaker. I would try practicing in front of a mirror to help you better correct any problems. Basically, just jump into doubles and just realize it may take a while to get both hands sounding equal...hope this helps!
