I have to chuckle because when I was a kid, I spent a lot of time with a practice pad and now any youngster I shoot a lesson to (especially teenagers) want to jump right to the kit. Here I am at 44 still working on 7 stroke rolls, ratamacues and paradiddles and I can't get anyone to understand the importance of them. Or how and when to apply them.

good one Billy. I work at a desk and use my mousepad for a drumpad(very similar). i also have an extra kick and elec. kick pad for the office to practice on at work. there are free metronomes online too. thanks

Thanks Billy. I'm gonna use this one on my beginner students like dannyboy said. Although I think you could use this one further and do the same thing with double strokes.

Billy Thank YOU so so so so so much for making time for us newbies out there :P
I can not wait to start working on this, working the next 5 days + school but Im going to make time !
Hopefully I can get some consistency down and I'll post a Video response to show some progress !!
