Tension Rod

The tension rod is used to fasten the [define=hoop] to the [define=shell] as its primary purpose. It's secondary purpose is to allow tuning of the head by applying or removing tension in an upward / downward movement which allows the head tension to change, thus allowing pitch changes.

Throw Off
