Free Floating

This is where the hardware of a drum never touches the shell, nor is attached to the shell.

Free Floating Snare Drum

A drum in which the shell is completely separate from the hardware. By keeping the shell in one solid piece this eliminates sound restriction, heightens projection,tone and clarity.

Friction Drum

Fulcrum

Gourd Water Drum

A half-section of a hollow gourd which floats upside down in a container of water. The gourd is struck with a wooden sppon or small stick.

Groove

Hand Bells
