Ok I use tama superstar titanium fade. i have an 8 piece set with 8 cymbals currently on it. I use evans heads and sabian cymbals. i generally like to play metal but i also play jazz, funk, rock, blues, reggae, anything. I am 31. I bought my first trap set,Pearl, when my grandmother passed away. I always liked instruments. For what reason I chose percussion to this day I do not know why. I never had any sort of lessons but i could grab anthing and play it by ear. When I graduated in 1995 I sold my drumset to my oldr brothers friend that was in college and into drums. I'm a female, left-handed drummer, playing drums on and off for most of my life. I'm self-taught, learning by watching Mtv growing up, and just playing along to the radio. I've recently, in the past few years, have started playing in band situations, but haven't found a steady gig. (Location is really key!!) I love playing rock/metal!!! Skillet is my favorite band!!! My favorite thing to do is play in the worship band at my church. I own a 5 piece, white percussion plus set (nothin crazy for now)....but eventually, I would like to purchase a Mapex or Sonor kit w/ a Black Panther snare-they are so sick!.
