Mack's High Fidelity Hear Plugs

by ThatDrummerKid on Wed, 02/20/2008 - 16:07

As a musician, we tend to always be around large quantity's of sound. Whether you're playing a show or just a face in the crowd, stage monitors blasting in your ears is just the start of hearing damage. Most ear-plugs work, but they also cut out many of the important sounds you want or need to hear. The main goal is to hear everything, but at a much more reduced and controlled volume. This is where Mack's Hi Fi Hear Plugs come in.

Mack's High Fidelity Hear Plugs are different in that they use patented filter technology to replicate the natural response of the ear canal so that sound is not muffled and music is heard clearly, but at a safer, reduced volume. This basically means you can hear everything you normally hear in a loud situation, but the volume is much lower and controlled. Even speech and music stay crystal-clear, just quieter, almost like turning down the volume. Having as set of these ear plugs is most beneficial to musicians and especially drummers, being that hearing every aspect of what they are playing is important.

Mack's Hear Plugs have a noise reduction level of 12 decibels when used for jam sessions, nightclubs, sporting events, shop work, etc.. There is no doubt that they are versatile for many things. For most drummers, when playing live there is always that ridiculously loud monitor the sound man gives you, and it's sitting next to your ear. This is most dangerous because all this brute force and noise is being shot directly into your ear via the speaker. No more of this thanks to Mack's Hear Plugs, a quick insertion brings instant improvement in volume, yet the quality stays clear. Use of a unique patented tuned resonator and acoustic resistor was the result to reduce all sound evenly across the frequency range. You can also try using just one plug on the side that the monitor is facing towards, this takes the face melting volume off of the monitor, and leaves the other side sounding normal. The ability to listen and hear things clearly is the most resourceful tool a musician can have so protect your hearing at all times.
