Aerosmith “can’t wait” to start recording their new album, the band’s 15th LP and first containing original material since 2001’s Just Push Play. “Today is the first day Tom and I are getting back together. We just rehearsed for two hours and it feels so good,” Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer and bassist Tom Hamilton write in a news update on the band’s official Website. “We can’t wait to get back into the studio and get back out on the road to do what we do best. We’ll check in from time to time and give you progress on how things are going.”
Aerosmith have kept their fans occupied while they awaited the follow-up to 2004’s cover album Honkin’ With Bobo. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith ended up selling more copies in its debut week than any other Aerosmith album.
Is Guitar Hero/Rock Band becoming the future of the music industry? tell us what you think HERE.
