PDP HH820 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand

Bdesormeaux - Sun, 10/12/2008 - 14:17 | 2,537 views

WOW! I went to the store looking for a new hi-hat stand, and I saw this, first thing that came to my mind was, 2 legs? that could never stand up right. I was wrong, it stands better than my last hi-hat stand. And the price was low low, so ended up buying it, and i do not regret it at all! it stands up perfect, fits right next to a second pedal, and it can get very tall, or very short. I RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Buy it.

I have an Iron Cobra 2 legged stand. You can adjust it in so many ways I haven't even figured them all out. I'd only get rid of it if it fell into a million pieces!

I have an old DW5000 double pedal that I don't use just because I can't afford the 2 leg HH stand. I've set the double pedal up with the 3 leg HH stand and its too akward stuffing my big foot under the third leg to play the double pedal. When I can afford it I'll check out the 2 leg HH stand. (that's my excuse for sucking at playing two kick drum pedals):)

the only problem i had with it is the fact that i move my left leg up and down a lot when i play to keep time and it tends to move and sometime shake. i really had no reason to get a two leg stand seeing as how i dont play a double pedal. my bad. but other than that, no complaints. i most likely move my hihat leg a lot more than most.

Since making the switch I don't think I'll ever go back to a tri-pod  hi hat stand. That PDP is a great value and holds up really well. A good hi hat stand is hard to find.
