MIDI Files Live?

SpongeDog - Mon, 01/18/2010 - 07:30 | 4,757 views

Our Keyboard player has left us in a bind. What do you think of using MIDI files for all the Keyboard parts in a club gig? The purest in me is troubled but out Keys player left the band in a bad spot. Gig in 2 weeks and we can't cancell without blowing future opportunities at this venue. Primary concern Journey and Toto stuff.

What are your thoughts on replacing a player with MIDI in a bind and possibly long term?

Thanks.
