Billy Cobhams Current Setup

Hi All,
Real quickly, I can't seem to find ANYWHERE that lists Billy Cobham's current setup drum SIZES. There's a wealth of everything else- pictures, videos even transcriptions; but still no individual listing of drum sizes that I can find. What gives? I mean this is THE BILLY! Anyway, if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. This is one of the most intelligent drum forums around BTW! -Thanx in advance -mannlymoon

Yeah, check out Yamaha drums and go to artist page and it will tell you which drums and sizes he plays. Also Billy is playing Yamaha drums with Evans drumheads...I believe EC2 coated heads, which I think are shit. You only get more sound out of heads and no shell sound together....you know?

Try going to his website; www.billycobham.com and click on the contact link and send a message for what you're looking for. His setup is quite unusual, good luck.

I found the info you are looking for on Yamaha's website. You have to search the artist section and it will give a breakdown of all of his equipment.

Thank you so much ThatDrummerKid!!! Apparently it's as hard to even get reply to this question as it has been the answer itself. Yes, I still can't find a clue on the web- a very strange situation for sure. Anyway, thanx again for your help. Honestly, I was starting to wonder whether poor ole' B.C. had any real supporters left that care if he's represented accurately as he should be. We all know he probably fired our imagination as to a whole new universe of possibilities way more than anyone else at the time and maybe ever if we're really honest about it.
