Awesome Week of Shows!

I am so pumped about the week that I had!

It started last Saturday in Arlington, TX with the opening of the new Cowboys Stadium with Blake Shelton, Reba, Leann Womack and George Strait! It was unbelievable! The HD jumbotron alone was a sight to behold! I was more excited than nervous play. I have done "huge" gigs in the past, but I was so nervous that I did not enjoy the experience. I just relaxed, played a great show and truly enjoyed playing to a crowd of 60,000+!

Then, this past week was CMA Music Fest in Nashville. Thousands of country music fans descend upon Nashville to see their favorite artists perform and get a chance to meet them up close. Many artists have a fan club party, where fan club members get to have an intimate experience with their favorite artist.

This year, Blake decided to have a full band show playing 80's country cover tunes!! It was awesome! We had special guests Steve Wariner, Miranda Lambert, Craig Morgan, Keith Anderson, Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum and Nan Kelley from GAC. Getting to play "Lynda," "Lonely Women," and "I Got Dreams" with Steve Wariner was not only a high point of the night, but of my career!
