University of North Texas Marimba Workshop with She-e Wu, Christopher Deane, Brian Zator and Mark Ford

UNT will be hosting a Marimba Workshop June 22nd-26th 2009 with:
She-e Wu - Northwestern University
Mark Ford - University of North Texas
Brian Zator - Texas A&M - Commerce
Christopher Deane - University of North Texas
This marimba workshop is designed for high school (juniors &
seniors) and college students, as well as professionals and educators.
Participants will enjoy:
- Private Lessons and Master Classes with World Class Instructors
- Ensemble, Technique and Literature Sessions
- Student solo and ensemble recitals
Participants will be grouped into levels of experience/ability and placed in an ensemble.
Students will be expected to have a minimum of two solo works or etudes in progress to work on and perform for the workshop.
Registration deadline is May 22, 2009 - Limited enrollment
