I am the founder and web developer for Drummer Connection. I enjoy playing drums, and I thrive on learning more about the instrument itself and the people behind the scene. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN, I'm not a gigging drummer, I'm not in a band. I'm just a person who has a passion for playing and collecting drums, as well as running this website. I practice quite a bit and work on my skills and groove as much as possible. I have been drumming for a few years now, started around 2003. When I'm not drumming, I work on computers and I build websites such as this one.

What's up Drumfreak! Thanks for the addition to my guestbook! Yep, the kit is a Mapex Saturn series but a bit tricked out by them for my needs. I use it on the road because the drums have a great tone live and in the studio or practice room. I had them give me the 14' and 16' toms on the floor instead of the standard rack mounted floor toms and I had them tweak my snare drum a bit as well. I like the finish because it gives a great visual effect under the lights. Kinda cool. Feel free to check out my band's website at: www.myspace.com/minusnothingband and my personal myspace account at: www.myspace.com/matchgrip1

Heu man , thanks for the welcome. I am self taught...and have been playing for 25 yrs or so...nothing fancy...but I can keep great time, and can put down a beat. The only help I have ever had was back in the mis 80' I worked around Kenny Aornoff as he sat in as a hous drummer at a hall I run lights for. He taught me a few chops...what a great guy. I had a chance to get to know him pretty well in the 5 mo's or so her sat in...we have stayed in touch over the years...and I don't need to sya much about were he has been and what he has done over the past 25 yrs or so....veru nice guy.Well later...have a great day.
