as most of you know I have spent the best part of the last year trying to be all things to the John Blackwell Project: lawyer/manager/executive producer/travel agent/diplomat etc. etc. After thousands of hours, I am truly pleased to let you know that the CD is now available, either as a download or physical copy. As you know, this is a self released CD which features musicians who have played with some of the best and most well known folks around. John has played with Patti Labelle, Cameo, Prince and Justin Timberlake; Paul Pesco has played with Madonna, Hall & Oates, J-Lo, Mary J. Blige among many others; Corey Bernhard plays with The Usual Suspecks and 6-Figures and; Will Lee has played with everybody (Steely Dan, Carly Simon, Chaka Khan etc. etc.), although he is most well known as being the bass player on the Dave Letterman Show. There are also many other musicians on the CD such as Esperanza Spalding, David Mann (Tower of Power), David Garfield and many others. The playing on this CD is truly great!!
I am happy enough just to share this information with my frinds, but we also need your help to get the word out about this CD. If you know anyone who is a jazz fan, please send them the link.
