Ok, I've always wondered exactly how this works. At what point do you actually get to say "I" won a Grammy? I mean if you're let's say Coldplay's drummer, then you can say that you've won a Grammy for Best Album of the Year(who votes on this anyway). That's cool! But what about everybody else involved besides the band? Does the recording studio get to boast that as well? Or the producer, sound engineer, etc. What if you were asked to be someone's studio drummer for an album that wins a Grammy? Do you just say something like "I'm featured on several Grammy Award winning albums"? Where does it begin and end? Can anyone clarify this for me because anytime you read about it the artist usually mentions that they were ON the album, but they never come right out and say "I won a Grammy."
