Here's one for starters, apparently System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan is a rare comic book collector/dealer.John recently purchased the rare Superman issue #1 for a measly $317k. The original price when it hit the stands in 1938....10 cents!

Andrew Dice Clay - the "Diceman' is a drummer! Yup, he started back in the day as a kid and has even studied with Carmine Appice. Dice now send his son to Carmine, but still enjoys the occasional lesson with Jason Bittner .

Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighter's frontman Dave Grohl has a street named after him. In October 2008, Market Alley in Dave's hometown of Warren, Ohio was changed to Dave Grohl Alley. True story!

believe it or not my uncle, Patrick Whatule, was almost the drummer for Guns and Roses. three days before he was supposed to fly to Florida to meet Axl Rose in his Miami Beach home, Axl's house burnt to the ground. my uncle, a somewhat superstitious man, took that as a bad omen. now look where the band is. most of them are on drugs, or dead from them.
true story.
