Boone Hawks here. Drummin' since 1968.
The music business for drummers has the same deal over and over again.
(1.)The right place at the right time
(2.)Who do you know - it sounds like you know alot of people?
My advice: Call up those people - Get a website - Go to DDrum or PDC company and try for an endorsement - Record a drum CD, copyright it and sell it world wide on CD Baby - Start your own group, call it "Buster Phillips and the __?__ - Build it, and they'll come...Nope...You must go after it - Go to guitar seminars also to find musicians - Do you have a business card to drop in the tip jars of the bands you like? Doing it over the computer is tuff, you must beat feet and get on the phone! Thanks -Boone Hawks

Hey Buster, welcome to Drummer Connection. Like drumfreak said, it may not be a bad idea to start constructing your drummer profile here on the site, because all the content here on the site is archived via Google search and chances are people who search from keywords like drummer, Tanya Tucker, Conway etc... will come across your name and profile content. Good luck!
