I need some help choosing a recording program. I want to be able to record everything myself. I don't care about midi devices, loops, effects or any of that extra junk! I just want to be able to record Guitas , Bass, Keyboard, Vocals and Drums and burn songs to CD. I have a windows 7 machine that is very fast. A 16 track mixer and a tascam us-122 interface. I was using my power pc MAC and Garage band and that worked beautifully but now its to slow and cant handel it anymore. I would like to start using my Windows machine now but there are soooo many programs to choose from and I just want someting simple. What do you think?

I just thought of someting else also. How Do you keep the drums from clipping when your recording? I have to turn the mics down so low that you can barley hear anything.
