I have a Vex Pro Touring double pedal, it was 100 bucks. I can't get the left pedal to stop clicking! As i hit the left pedal, the beater hits the bass drum, but the pedal also hits the clamp that you use to tighten it on to your bass drum hoop. I don't even need that clamp, and i could probably take it off with an allen wrench, but before i do is there any suggestions?

I watched that video series on the vex pedal a while back, but it seemed kind of complex to understand... I did fool around with allen wrenches, but the problem still exists. I'm gonna work on it some more today, (i gave it a break) and I'll see if i can figure out some specifics or maybe just fix it. Thanks for all the help, it is very much appreciated.

Here is a link to some youtube video adjustments. Honestly...I didn't have time to watch all of them but I'm sure they can only help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E76FMVKuTxw

I'd say that's your best bet if you found the sweet spot in your pedal. If there's room for experimenting, try raising the pedal board and give it a go!
