I like art rock. Like Peter Gabriel-era Genesis, King Crimson, etc. I enjoy playing along to Apocolypse 9/8 or Lark's Tounges In Aspic Part 2.

So I appreciate all the work people do for the drumless tracks here, and they are great, I am really looking forward to getting into them...but does anyone know where to get studio recorded drumless tracks? I mean why can you karaoke voice but not drums....the original masters have to be separated out in tracks still...right? How cool would be to have the entire In Through the Out Door or Moving Pictures album with no drums? Hell, even in Neils videos he is doing it along with Rush. Thanks!

I wanna try Iron Maiden - Blood Brothers - a cover of the track. I found the music I need, let me see what I can come up with :)

I've never been a fan, just never put it on my list of things to listen to, but now that I'm older and have more of an appreciation for music, Iron Maiden is fucking incredible... wish I would have listened to them sooner!

It's hard to find correct Iron Maiden tabs... Maiden would be a definite group to find drumless tracks for.
Maybe some Steve Morse work?
To get a bit older --- what about some Saxon? Maybe a bit of Steppen' Wolf? Or Lita Ford...
Some True American Metal....? Lamb of God.
To fall into more progressive work the best I can come up with is --- Liquid Tension Experiment.
Of course these are all artists that are very large and it might be a bit complicated... so don't overwork yourself Debrasil!
Lemmie know if you find anything from Maiden though! That is my choice for personal study lately, hope it helps!

I'd love to see/hear drum-less tracks for a number of Steely Dan tunes as well a many Jazz standards and maybe some Rush and classic rock stuff.I have a few cd's that I've made over the years of drum-less tracks and it's a GREAT practice tool as well as just a bloody good time!!
