I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the new Yamaha DTX900 Series Electronic Drums. Then, just like their predecessors, I couldn't believe my ears. Not only did the sleek design draw my attention but then suddenly the pads on the drums themselves. I have to admit I'm on the fence about the DTX-PAD technology. It's nice to know you may never have to replace a "head" on this kit but I wasn't thrilled about the feel of it. It was almost like hitting the memory foam on a bed.
