It's a cross between a crash/splash/china all at once. It's made of brass and has a lamp shade profile. Mine is 15" and I have a picture of it in the center of my whole kit. The shade cymbal is one of the most unique sounding cymbals I have ever heard and recommend it to anyone for any style of music!
