Megadeth drummer Shawn Drover was indoctrinated into the world of Drum Clinics last Thursday, July 9th at Seminole Music & Sound (Seminole Florida) in front of an audience of approximately 100 drummers and enthusiasts. Shawn Drover opened up with a very cool song called "The Eternal Call" from his previous band, Eidolon and then performed a few Megadeth songs for the audience. April 21st, 2009, some of the DC crew were able to make it out to the Tommy Igoe clinic at Drums2Go in Orlando, FL. We have seen Tommy play at last year’s Buddy Rich Memorial Concert, so we had a pretty good idea what to expect for this clinic. He brought to the table many of his techniques and ideas as seen in his new Groove Essentials 2.0 DVD out on sale now! On Sunday, March 29th, 2009 Keith Thomas from the Drummer Connection staff was able to tag along to see our good friend Cash perform at the House of Blues Sunday Gospel Brunch with the group, Apostle J.L.
