Lately I've been receiving a lot of the "I'm a foreign dignitary and I need your help getting money out of my country" type of spam.
It all seems pretty ridiculous, but they must get some nibbles on crap like thsi or they wouldn't continue to send it.
I attended an IBM seminar on it a few years ago (I'm an IT manager for a big company when I'm not drumming). The speaker said he set up two free e-mail accounts, left them alone - didn't share the addresses with anybody, didn't send any e-mail fom them - and within a few months both accounts had received spam.

Yeah, save for any medical conditions. The crap you see on the internet probably wouldn't help if your spouse was ugly, anyway.
I was an idiot like most people are when they first start surfing the net. I had to dump my very first email account because I filled out one of those online I.Q. tests (irony at its best). Shortly after that, I had 45 "new messages" in my in box.
My favorite spam mail is the "a local single matches your profile!" message. I'm thinking...you mean overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated? Wow sounds like a real winner! Hey, wait a minute....

All I know is my equipment works just fine....I'm sick of male enhancement SPAM. WTF! I think a lot of it comes from the fact that their spouse isn't attractive anymore. Am I alone on this? :o
