I have 2 different screws that have stripped on me. One is on my Pearl Masters where it tightens to the rack tom holder post, and the other, to a seperate memory lock on the rack holder itself.
Doesn't bode well if this is the pattern to expect as you have to have total confidence in your (expensive) equipment on a gig.
Anyone else experiencing these kind of problems with PEarl hardware?
Thanks,
Andy

Depending on how long you've had your kit just give Pearl a call. I've dealt with them in the past and they're really good a bout getting you spare parts in a timely manner. It's worth a try and they might only charge you for shipping....they can only say no.

I haven't had to much experience with Pearl hardware, but I do own a Chad Smith signature snare drum. The hardware is rally solid, doesn't rust and it hasn't let me down. Not to mention it has a nice throwoff on it.
