I have been working on a few updates to the website this weekend. Here's a short list of what I've fixed / covered:
- Fixed front page display issues for Internet Explorer
- Placed a limiter on videos. Anonymous viewers can only view 3 videos before they have to login.
- Tweaked out user profiles, still much work to be done
- Fixed other various layout issues, such as editing pages on user profiles.

Am I the only one? The only way I can get to the forums is by the recent posts link at the bottom of the page. If I try the menu link, it is a dead end. I can't even find all the forums, or actually I am not sure if I can or not, I have to back door everything. If I click on "forums" thinking it will list all the forums, again, "not found" I get that a lot. The guys who run this site seem really nice and concerned, but I have to wonder if it is just they are way over their heads. This is a HUGE undertaking. There are holes all over, bad links, etc. I can understand how that can happen easily. I think this will be a great resource some day, but right now, I run into more problems than I do things that work. I have tried this on both IE9 and Google Chrome. I know another browser is recommended but I am not installing a 3rd browser for one site! I am not a novice, I ran the digital div of a pro photo lab and was the network admin. I hope things get fixed here, this is rather frustrating, and I would really like to use this more, but it is just too difficult, too many non working links, too many things not working.

OK, WTF does this have to do with drums or music? And this spam has been up for a month! Yeah, some day this may be a great site for drummers, but unfortunately that day is a while off. I would like to donate $10 or $20 bucks, and would for a worth while resource but it is pretty clear that this place is a LONG way from being anything worth paying for. I will check back in 6 months or a year and if it is better, great, if it is the same with spam messages on a forum that is hard to find, bad links, etc, then I will know it is just well intentioned but just not able to live up to its goals. This is really sad, I thought I really found something good.

Yes, that's a good idea. I'll make a block for it or something to try and draw attention.

More updates tonight, things should be much faster on the main website.

Have you condidered hyping the forum section on the main page a bit more? Seems there are a lot of drummers signed up (though some do look like they were created by robots), though not many seem to post.

Indeed it is sometimes! It's overwhelming too. I'm continuously making updates to the site, so keep your eyes posted.
Regarding that galery issue you had, try going to the gallery again by clicking the Picture frame on your right sidebar at the top. See if it creates your album for you. I found a setting which I disabled awhile back to auto-create albums when users register. I have re-enabled that, but you should get your default album created when you visit the gallery the first time.

Thanks for all the behind-the-scenes work on the site. Despite the previous sentence - it's really kind of a thankless job!
