I just had a chance to fool around with the kit builder that on Mapex's website. This kit builder is only based around the Pro-M series drums, but you have almost unlimited options as to what size drums you want, and all the Pro-M finishes to choose from. If your thinking of ordering a kit from Mapex, you should consider trying their Kitbuilder.
All you need to do to make a kit, is register with the Mapex site (free) and there ya go, you can check it out here:http://usa.mapexdrums.com/my%2Dpro%2Dm/

Has anyone seem the kit builder on the Sabian site? I'm sure you have, but you can pick generic brands and then re-name the item. About as generic as were going to get probably.

I like the DW builder more. And I haven't found one that's more generic, but I'll keep looking.

I'd like to find drumset builder software that was generic - not dedicated to a specific brand. I have sets from multiple manufacturers and it would be nice to be able to do drum set diagrams of my preferred configurations.
Has anybody seen anything like that?
