Drummer Connection Forum
Hey, folks!
I am brand new to Drummer Connection. I've been watching many of the lessons on YouTube but never knew there was a forum until today, so I joined. Incredible looking web site, one of the best I have ever seen.
Anyhow, I've been one of those guys that has always pounded on stuff trying to keep up with whatever song is in the background. Believe it or not, I got into drumming 2 years ago because of my kids video game, Rock Band. Actually, my wife and I got him a kit because he was so good at the video game and drumming immediately became an addiction for me. The following year, I asked Santa for my own kit (Sonor) and I've played every day since.
While drumming has become a passion for me, my first passion is encouraging my kids. My youngest is our rockstar, not me.
Just wanted to say hello to the forum. Glad I found it.

Hey Chad! - Sounds like we share a similar drumming background. I inherited my kit after my daughter gave up on drumming about a year ago. No looking back now! Enjoy!
