I keep hearing about people getting pedals like the Pearl Demon Drive, Axis Longboards and so on...my question is: are they really worth it? Those pedals cost way more that a splitboard pedal and the only application I've really noticed for longboards is heel-toe, or if you have large feet. If speed is the question, I think a standard pedal will do fine (I can do close to 300 b.p.m with my pedals and they suck)What do you guys think?

FOR THE MONEY, YES. BUT THE LAST PEDAL YOU WILL BUY OR NEED ARE THE POWER GLIDE IRON COBRAS. TRY TO SPEND THE MONEY IF POSSABLE. IT IS A GREAT INVESTMENT THAN A "STANDARD" PEDAL LIKE THE JR.S

HERE IS MY OPINION; LONGBOARDS ARE GOOD ONLY FOR HEAL TOE TECHNIQUE. WAY TO MUCH THROW FOR REGULAR PLAYERS TO HAVE ANY USE. IF YOUR LIKE MOST, YOU PLAY HEAL UP BOUT HALF TO 2/3RDS UP ON BOARD ANYWAY. DEMON DRIVE ARE BAD ASS. BUT! IF YOU HAVE A GOOD PEDAL ANYWAY, NOT GONNA GAIN MUCH. I SWAPPED A DW 5000 DBL PDL FOR A IRON COBRA AS MY LOCAL SHOP GAVE OFFER I COULDNT REFUSE, AND ILL TELL YOU....I KICK MYSELF FOR NOT TRYING THEM YEARS AGO. ABSOLUTLY THE BEST PEDAL FOR THE BUCK. SMOOTH AND FAST WITH EVERYTHING ADJUSTABLE. AND HALF THE PRICE OF DEMONS. I PLAY METAL, THEN A COUNTRY ROCK PROJECT, THEN HIP-HOP, ETC. SO VERSATILITY IS A MUST. AXIS AND TRICK (EXP. AXIS) DO ONE THING WELL. SPEED. NO FEEL, NO DYNAMICS IMO ANYWAY. PLAYED ON ALL OF THEM. IRON COBRAS OR DEMONS, THAT IS COMING FROM A DW PLAYER FOR YEARS....KEITH
