There really isn't a "cymbal" forum on DC right now so I thought I'd post here. I LOVE cymbals. Cymbals of all shapes and sizes, makes and models. Share your favorite cymbals with us.
I'll start with two of my favorites. In this pic we've got a set of late 70's/early 80's K Hi-hats and a 21" Bosphorus Master Vintage ride. The hats are good for anything and can be heard on Worldwide Zoo's CD. The ride is warm ,earthy, and quiet. It is also on the CD but is used less frequently. This is my go to ride for any small gig and recording sessions.

For me, insert any photos of Paiste you want here! :-)
Currently I'm working with all Alphas surrounding me, have always loved the sound of Paistes!

Here's a better shot of the late 70's/early 80's Zildjian K hi-hats.
A favorite of mine and the main ride cymbal on both the Worldwide Zoo album and the Junkyard Kings' demo recordings. A Zildjian K Dark Medium Ride at 22".
Here's a 2002 K Constantinople Medium at 20"
KEEP EM COMING! I know you have some nice cymbals!

My favorite Cymbal is certainly the Meinl Byzance Serpant's Ride. It's Derek Roddy's signature. It's AMAZING.

Yes. However Bosphorus changed the name from Master Turk to Master Vintage. The standard Turk series is much heavier and sounds quite different. The Master series come in traditional(lathed) and turk finishes. The lathed are simply called Master series while the turk finish was renamed "Vintage" series. These cymbals have a very noticeable wobble when struck and an almost reverb-like quick sustain.
