I recently bought an Alesis DM5 Pro along with an M-Audio fast track ultra interface, I am running Pro tools (on PC)
I bought a pair of MIDI cables going from the DM5's MIDI out/thru and MIDI in to the MIDI ports on the interface,and loaded pro tools but cannot seem to get the two to work together properly, I have done what it said in the Alesis instructions (which is not allot!)
Can anyone help!?

I'm not sure exactly... I did own a DM5, but didn't use MIDI. not trying to spam another forum, but have you checked out DMdrummer.com. It's an unofficial Alesis drum forum.
