D Drum SETT!!!!

Well, I saw Debrasil talking about the PDP X7. The PDP X7 could be, by some, called better than this kit. Only because it is made of maple now. But still, that Ddrum kit is amazing. If I didn't get a Mapex, I would've totally got that exact kit.

Wow I followed that link, and I am seriously considering that set as well. I too have been looking for a new one, and i was mildly thinking about a 6 piece Tama for 1400(CAD mind you), but at this price, even with the exchange rate I would save a ton. And it looks like a nice set too!

*Dude* a million times yes. For $650 and some change I don't think you could ask for a better kit that size. You have other options similar to the Defiant 7pc like the PDP X7 which is a 7 piece as well and same tom sizes (if i remember correctly) The only difference in sizes would be the bass drum size, which is a 18x20 v.s. the DDRUM which is 20x22. The difference in price is about $300. The X7 is $899 + and has STM mounts (non virgin bass drum.) Go for the DDRUM!
