I just picked up a pair of MOTU 896mk3's tonight and here's the first audio that I got out of one of them. I have to return the other to the store, the firewire doesn't work right and the ADAT out doesn't work either. I have input, but absolutely no output... it will be sweet when I get the other one and we can mic the room up. These Motu 896mk3 rock! I am using a set of Peavy mics for the toms, and snare, a samson condensor mic, a Shure Beta 52a for the kick and a Sony on the overhead. More ... read more...

Here's Cash, Markice, and drumfreak doing a multi-track recording in the Drummer Connection studios. Cash played a Gibson Les Paul Robot Guitar running through a Line6 pedal and out to the MOTU 8Pre. He also played the Gretsch Catalina Club Kit with a special snare we have. More details of the snare will come, but this thing is a beauty.
