When you got a teacher he has to say get a metronome (i'de prefer a roland with headfhone, about 100 euros here in Belgium);
The next step is look up some rudiments on the internet (though you're teacher schould told you so if he's worth the money).
Then each rudiment schould be played with your clicktrack....
And believe me if you really want to play drums, just practice every day and record yourself and you'll be proud of yourself in a few years. For two months playing it's not bad at all.
