With Enrike Pla, drummer of Irakere, he went back to the origine of Jazz in Louisiane ;
In Asia, he realized that all details are important and how to work to be as close as possible to perfection ;
In 2005, he travelled over South America, Trinidad, Tobago, Venezuela,....
His Masterclass
Jean Pierre Dalmassy has been a drum teacher for a long time and he takes part in several Masterclass with different artist as Enrike Pla, Denis Chambers, André Cecarelli, Russ Miller, Félix Sabal Leco, Dom Famularo, Loïc Pontieux, Julio Figueroa, Walfredo Reyes Jr, Marc, Mondésir, Simon Philips, Gary Novak, Dave Weckl, Thomas Lang, Mike Terrana,...
In 2003, Jean Pierre Dalmassy was invited for a show and Masterclas in one of the most famous percussion festival in La Havane, PERCUBA
His Music
Jean Pierre Dalmassy also plays in studios ; he has recorded around ten CDs, advertisements and three videos.
He has played with different bands, during several festivals.
His meeting with Joe Diorio and Gilbert Rovere was really decisive, thanks to them he developped his way of playing.
AGATHA is born in 2001, this band is ever changing :
Le Rêve de la Forêt is recorded with Jeff Gardner, piano (he played with E. Gomez, G.Peacock,...), Tzar Paanphum, bass (Thai musician who played with Steve Gadd)
Everyday Miracles, in 2004, is recorded with Dominique Di Piazza
AGATHA is under the well known label Sergent Major Company
