Hey all, my name's Mike G and I've been drumming for over 20 years and couldn't dream of another instrument that would be as cathartic, empowering and just all-around fun to play than the drums. Next time you hear a drummer joke tell the stupid son of a b**ch that said it to p*ss off and that the FIRST REAL INSTRUMENT IN THE WORLD WAS THE DRUM....not the guitar or the bass or the piano or a horn but the drum. It was as important then as it is now for some cultures, because it's a form of communication. In the Civil War the drummer was very important in the cadence of the soldiers; without it they might've been lost. The last most important thing to tell all of those a**hole guitarists who think that their sh*t don't stink is that the drums are run on MAN POWER, not electric power in order to make music...!!! Can you dig it.....I knew that you could....!!!
