Thanks man! I'm using a Peavy Drum mic there and got some reverb going! Been getting compliments lately on this snare drum sound - this snare is the ddrum D-bop 14" snare that came with the kit. Even has the cheapo strainers on it. We put an Evans G2 coated head on it and it tuned right up. Those snares are splashy.. I love them.

For some reason, I like to rush this song... having the click there is why I keep changing my timing. I'm working with the click until I feel the timing is nailed then will move over to the clickless version... The click in this song is really low, so I'll be grooving away and realize I'm slightly off when that click becomes audible.. and then I try to change my timing. Crank the click up! I know the solution "Count..." yeah yeah..
